Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains when DeleteMyLeaks subscription fees are refundable and how to request a refund. It forms part of, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Service.
1.Overview
DeleteMyLeaks is a subscription software service operated by Deletemyleaks LLC. We want you to be confident in your purchase, so we offer a refund window on your initial subscription payment as described below.
Payments for DeleteMyLeaks subscriptions are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Refunds are issued by us through Stripe to your original payment method.
2.7-day refund window
You are eligible for a full refund of your initial subscription payment if both of the following are true:
- You request the refund within 7 days of your initial payment.
- No takedown notices have been submitted on your behalf and you have not otherwise made material use of the service.
3.After the refund window
Once any of the following has occurred, fees for the current billing period are non-refundable:
- More than 7 days have passed since your initial payment.
- One or more DMCA takedown notices have been submitted on your behalf.
- You have used the service to scan, detect, or action infringing content.
4.Subscription renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled. Renewal payments are generally non-refundable.
You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current paid period - you keep access until then. To avoid being charged for a renewal, cancel before your next billing date.
5.Billing errors and duplicate charges
If you were charged in error - for example a duplicate charge, an incorrect amount, or a charge after a confirmed cancellation - contact us and we will refund the affected amount in full, regardless of the 7-day window.
6.How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account, including the order or receipt number from your payment confirmation. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe. Depending on your bank, it may take a few business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
7.Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first - most issues are resolved quickly. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending resolution.
