How to Report It Yourself

Bunkr's FAQ describes a report option for a single link, an album or a video. Open the file or album and use it. Say that you own the copyright, list every link, and keep a copy of what you sent. If a Bunkr link also shows up in Google or Bing, use each search engine's copyright removal form to ask it to drop the result.

The parts a DMCA notice needs: your signature, a description of your original work, the exact URL of every file and album, contact details the site can reach you at, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, and a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you own the copyright or are authorized to act for the owner. A notice can be passed on to the person who posted the content, so choose the name and contact details you use with care.

Go to the companies behind the site. An RDAP or WHOIS lookup on the domain (ICANN's free tool at lookup.icann.org works) shows its registrar, and a lookup on its IP address shows the hosting provider or CDN. Each usually lists an abuse contact; send them the same notice with every URL. If the site sits behind a CDN such as Cloudflare, the CDN's abuse form passes complaints on to the host.

Our scans find those pages, a person confirms every match before any notice is sent, and we send takedown notices by email or through the site's own form, where the site publishes one. Every notice we send is rechecked a day, a week and a month later, until the page is gone, while your plan is active. Our team can also ask Google, Bing and Brave to remove a page from search results; we don't promise when it drops.
